Measure the athlete, not the label
Use a flexible measuring tape and wear a thin base layer. Stand naturally and keep the tape level, close to the body without pulling it tight. Ask someone to help where possible.
The measurements to prepare
| Measurement | How to take it |
|---|---|
| Chest / bust | Measure around the fullest part, keeping the tape horizontal across the back. |
| Waist | Measure around your natural waist without holding your breath. |
| Hips | Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat. |
| Inseam | Measure from the top of the inner leg to the intended trouser hem. |
| Height | Stand without shoes against a straight wall. |
Choose a product-specific fit
A football jersey, gymnastics leotard, martial arts uniform, and motorcycle suit use different cuts and fit requirements. A size label alone is not a measurement. The sizes in the quote builder express a preference; they do not confirm fit or stock.
Ask for the relevant garment measurements, measurement tolerance, fabric stretch, and a sample if needed. For protective gear, also follow the manufacturer’s fitting instructions.
Preparing a team size sheet
List each player’s preferred size, measurements, number, and desired fit. Include youth or custom sizing requirements clearly. Share only the personal information needed for production, and obtain permission before providing another person’s details.
Start a team enquiry and request the applicable size chart before approving your order.
